We are 2 marketing students at the University of London. We had this idea of a fun service that is innovative, market-oriented and funny but not too capital-intensive or time-consuming. We plan to use the money to pay back some student loans, travel, give to a NGO that sends computers to Africa and invest in new business ideas that we have...

Guillaume
I'm 28, French and about to graduate from University of London where I have been studying Marketing over the past two years (with a quarter studying "sun tan" at UCLA).
Prior to this, I have co-founded several IT / web startups in Paris and worked as Product Development Manager. Two of these companies are even still alive.
On the side, I have played the guitar and composed in several local rock and funk bands and always love to rock the place.
I decided to work on this project because Olivier is a really great guy and we wanted to launch something together that was innovative, market-oriented and funny but not too capital or time consuming.

I am a 29 years French guy studying Marketing in London for the last 2 years at the University of London.
Prior to this, I was Head of Research & Development for a French wireless startup company that was sold to a UK software firm.
I’m a board member of a French NGO that contributes to the development of poor countries through ICT and I spent a few weeks in Africa to install a multi-media centre and train the teachers of a local school.
I teamed with Guillaume for The 1000-Word project because he is a fun guy to work with and has great web & marketing ideas. We are having fun, making a few buck and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
